Started learning Hindustani vocals from a tender age under the blessed tutelage of his Grandmother, Smt. Saroj Mathur [disciple of Late Padmashri Pt. Vinaya Chandra Maudgalya and Late Smt. Padma Devi].
He did Sangeet Visharad and Sangeet Alankar from the prestigious Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi and also completed his Sangeet Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad under the disciplined and strict guidance of Shri Samarjit Roy, Smt. Subhadra Desai & Shri S. P. Acharya.
For many years he taught Hindustani classical vocal music at the esteemed institution Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi and is now getting further advanced training under the guidance of Padmashri Pt. Madhup Mudgal.
Occationally, Kshitij was fortunate to get guidance from the stalwarts like,

Kshitij is the recipient of prestigious,

Currently, he is training Hindustani Vocal music at Matri Kala Mandir of the divine Sri Aurobindo Ashram, New Delhi and also joined as Senior Consultant and Faculty at T-Series StageWorks Academy of Film, Music and Performing Arts, Delhi NCR.
Being a young and upcoming Hindustani Vocal performing artist, he has been appointed as Delhi Ambassador for the INSYNC CHANNEL (First 24*7 Television Channel for promoting Indian Music and its Tradition like Classical, Semi-Classical, Bhajans, Ghazal, Folk, Fusion, etc.).
